On this day, 28 April 1984: Scream!

On this day, 28 April 1984 … The horrors just keep on coming beneath the gruesome Jesus Redondo front cover of this, the sixth issue of Scream! Redondo’s terrific artwork on Monster (soon to be published in a collected edition) sees Kenny haunted by the thought of his father and uncle’s corpses rising from their freshly-dug graves. MI5 and the KGB were separately closing in on the vampire in The Dracula File. Max of The Thirteenth Floor had a bailiff to educate. Gravedigger Finley helped a mysterious stranger to dig up his own coffin in Tales from the Grave. Library of Death told a tale of ghostly hitchhikers and Terror of the Cats arrived at its kitty-mauled, explosive final episode.
